In order to measure the fuel quantity of an aircraft in any attitude, a real-time measurement method of the aircraft fuel quantity based on CAD technology is proposed. Firstly, the wing tank model of an aircraft is established by using AutoCAD three-dimensional solid modeling technology, and then the measurement principle of the fuel quantity with attitude error correction and the composition of the measurement system are introduced. The output value of the fuel quantity sensor and the aircraft attitude information can be used to measure the fuel quantity in real time and correct the attitude error. The experimental results show that this method has fast calculation speed and accurate measurement. Keywords: fuel gauge; fuel system; computer-aided design
