Visual attention computational model for target tracking: Drawing on the research results on visual attention in psychology, a computational model for attention focus applied to video image sequences is proposed. Aiming at the shortcomings of the Itti model algorithm, such as high computational complexity and slow operation speed, the amount of computation is reduced by tracking the attention focus, and real-time monitoring of the attention focus is achieved. By using the similarity between adjacent frames and the weighted color histogram, the position of the attention focus of the next frame is obtained with the maximum matching degree as the prediction model. Experimental results show that the attention focus calculation has good robustness and can meet the needs of real-time monitoring of dynamic scenes. Keywords: attention focus; tracking; similarity; color histogram
