Abstract: The ML4435 PWM motor controller provides all the necessary functions for starting and controlling the speed of a brushless DC (LBDC) motor with either delta or wye connected windings (without Hall effect sensors). The proper commutation phase timing is determined by a phase locked loop from the back EMF voltage sensed from the motor windings.
