This paper introduces the simulation functions of pneumatic circuit CAD and electrical-pneumatic control circuit based on FluidSIM simulation software of FESTO, Germany. And through teaching examples, the teaching organization and implementation process of FluidSIM simulation software in the mechatronics course design of undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, as well as the teaching effect achieved, are introduced. The comprehensive application of mechatronics technology is playing an increasingly important role in the field of industrial production automation. Enterprises are increasingly demanding talents with mechatronics technology, especially comprehensive talents with practical application experience in a series of topics from design, assembly, programming, debugging to fault detection and troubleshooting in mechatronics. In order to improve the learning effect of mechatronics technology, we introduced MPS (Modular Production System) industrial automation teaching experimental equipment and FluidSIM Pneumatics simulation software from FESTO, Germany, for the mechatronics comprehensive course design of undergraduate students in the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, so that students can fully and comprehensively apply the professional knowledge they have learned in the course design practice process, making up for the current situation that students have limited opportunities to contact the site and lack of practice. The introduction of FluidSIM simulation software into the practical teaching of mechatronics further improves teaching methods, improves teaching means, and improves teaching quality. With this software, you can learn pneumatic and electrical-pneumatic knowledge on the computer; you can easily design pneumatic circuit diagrams and electrical control circuit diagrams that meet national industrial standards, and automatically detect and verify the correctness of system connections; because the adjustment range of component parameters is completely consistent with the actual equipment, the designed system can be accurately simulated and tested; the powerful simulation function displays the actions of the actual control system connected to the software in real time, and the intuitive and realistic software effects make the teaching \"live\" and \"dynamic\", and the machine and electricity are truly connected, shortening the distance between the classroom and the site, fully mobilizing the students\' enthusiasm for learning, and enabling students to learn in interest and fun, achieving excellent teaching results. At the same time, students\' comprehensive abilities such as learning ability, independent thinking ability, organizational ability, and innovative spirit have been comprehensively trained and improved.
