\"Ground\" is usually defined as an equipoint used as a reference level for two or more systems. A better definition of signal ground is a low impedance path through which signal current returns to its source. We are mainly concerned with current, not voltage. When there is a voltage difference between two points with finite impedance in a circuit, current is generated. The current path in the grounding structure determines the electromagnetic coupling between circuits. Because of the existence of a closed loop, the current flows in the closed loop, so a magnetic field is generated. The size of the closed loop area determines the radiation frequency of the magnetic field, and the size of the current determines the amplitude of the noise. There are two basic methods for implementing grounding methods: single-point grounding technology and multi-point grounding technology. In each set of solutions, a hybrid method may be used. For a particular application, how to choose the best signal grounding method depends on the design solution. As long as the designer relies on the concept of current flow and return path, several different methods can be used at the same time to comprehensively consider them.
