The soil resistivity of the area where the Guangzhou Panyu 110 kV Qifu substation is located is relatively high, and the ground grid resistance value is as high as 1.3Ω. In order to make the ground grid resistance meet the national standard, the world\'s advanced grounding system auxiliary design tool, CDEG S software package, was used for the first time in China to conduct a feasibility design demonstration of the Qifu substation grounding system and implement it. Finally, the ground grid resistance was reduced to below 0.2 Ω, ensuring the safe operation of the equipment. On this basis, we have further considered how to make the design and transformation of substations in areas with high soil resistivity more scientific and reasonable, so as to provide a relatively complete set of feasible system solutions for future discussions on related work.
