IntroductionMedical research has found that chromium D is an important component of glucose tolerance factor. The toxicity of chromium G is 100 times higher than that of chromium D and is a carcinogen. According to the current industrial \"three wastes\" emission standard (GBJ4273) in my country, the maximum allowable emission concentration of chromium G is 0.5 mgPL. At present, the methods for determining chromium G are mainly based on sampling and analysis, and the samples need to be pretreated. In this paper, a composite optical fiber chemical sensor probe and a self-made instrument system are used to realize continuous online monitoring of chromium G. Industrial wastewater from three different manufacturers is tested, and the test results are not significantly different from those of ion chromatography.
