This paper introduces the MVC cache strategy in the P2P-VOD system, which is proposed to improve the smoothness of video playback and server load pressure in the streaming media system. The continuous playback of videos in the P2P-VOD system, the frequency of server requests and user satisfaction are important factors in the system. However, the SVC cache strategy in the current system does not fully consider the situation where hot and cold channel nodes overlap to store data. Therefore, this paper proposes an MVC cache strategy, which fully considers the factors such as the popularity and popularity of videos in the on-demand system that will cause the overall cache imbalance of the system, and increases the cache volume of cold video data blocks. When there are many nodes, the hot channel nodes help the cold channel download data fragments. When the server communication volume is insufficient, the smoothness of video playback is improved and the load pressure of the server is reduced.
