The passive low-pass filter in the charge pump phase-locked loop is designed based on the method of analyzing the AC frequency domain characteristics of the phase-locked loop. The design method of the basic passive filter is discussed in this paper, and the design process of the third-order passive low-pass filter is emphasized. The simulation results of the filter and the charge pump phase-locked loop designed by this method are given.
