The LED digital tube electronic clock circuit in this design adopts a 24-hour timekeeping method. This design uses the expansion chip of the AT89C51 microcontroller and 6 PNP transistors as drivers. The display system consists of three LED digital tubes. Compared with the traditional LED display system based on 8/16-bit ordinary microcontrollers, this system can support more LED digital tubes for stable display without significantly increasing the system cost. The design uses the AT98C51 microcontroller, powered by a 5V power supply, and can adjust the time, minute, and reset functions under the action of the button. The update of the timing data is automatically performed once a second under the drive of the computer C language, but there is no need for the program to intervene in its output state.
