With the development of communication technology, the application of wireless communication technology in the industrial field is increasing. In the past, most industries used wired or manual methods for data collection and transmission. Although simple and practical, it consumed a lot of manpower and material resources, and to a large extent limited the expansion of application sites. Therefore, it becomes urgent and necessary to select a relatively economical, stable and efficient wireless transmission method. With the gradual maturity of GPRS network technology, GPRS wireless network has gradually revealed its advantages in long-distance communication applications. At the same time, the rapid development of embedded software and hardware technology has also enabled embedded products to enter thousands of households. Therefore, the use of wireless communication based on embedded systems and GPRS networks has gradually become one of the hot spots of today\'s applications. This system uses high-performance embedded microprocessor S3C2410 and GPRS wireless communication module MC39i to build a hardware platform, and uses embedded Linux operating system and TCP/IP protocol to establish a software platform to complete the design of embedded data acquisition and remote transmission system based on ARM-Linux. This paper first reviews the overview of embedded systems, then gives a brief introduction to embedded processors, embedded operating systems and GPRS wireless network technology, and then proposes a design scheme for an embedded data acquisition and remote transmission system based on ARM-Linux. It also specifically describes the development and implementation process of the system from the two aspects of hardware design and software implementation, including building a hardware platform with S3C2410 and MC39i as the core and building a software platform based on the embedded Linux operating system on the hardware platform, and finally realizing the data acquisition and remote transmission functions. This system has certain advantages in multi-task parallel processing and real-time process processing due to the use of high-performance ARM processors and embedded Linux systems. The system can be widely used in gas, oil fields, electricity and other departments, and has good development prospects.
