A stepper motor control system is designed. The C51 single-chip microcomputer is used to control the 4-phase stepper motor. The single-chip microcomputer generates a driving pulse signal. The stepping direction and speed of the stepper motor are set through the keyboard. The stepping angle, stepping direction and stepping speed are displayed on the LCD. The system is simulated and tested by the simulation software Proteus. The whole system adopts modular design with simple and reliable structure.
