A novel voltage and current dual closed-loop induction heating power supply based on current hysteresis and space voltage vector modulation (SVPWM) technology is introduced. It adopts advanced control strategy to make the grid-side input power factor (PF) of the induction heating power supply close to 1; the total current distortion (THD) is less than 5%. Based on the system small signal modeling analysis of the induction heating power supply, the current hysteresis and SVPWM controller of the high power factor (HPF) switch mode rectifier (SMR) are analyzed and designed. The simulation analysis and experimental results prove the rationality of the system.
