A Ku-band ultra-wideband microstrip antenna is designed by opening a window on the ground plane and cutting rectangular corners on the patch to achieve ultra-wideband, and the effects of different sizes of cutting corners on the band are compared. The simulation results show that at the center operating frequency of 12 GHz, the relative bandwidth reaches 78.3% (VSWR≤2).
