Aiming at the heterogeneous problems commonly existing in weapon support systems, this paper establishes a remote distributed fault diagnosis expert system based on Web Service technology and analyzes the structure of the system in detail. After that, the basic principles of Web Service are explained, and on this basis, the composition, function and diagnosis method of the remote diagnosis expert system are demonstrated in detail. The system can effectively realize resource sharing among various nodes in the network, thereby improving the diagnostic capability of the system. my country\'s weapons and equipment have the characteristics of multiple models, multiple batches, large quantities, wide-area distribution, and mobile deployment, which brings great difficulties to the logistics support and maintenance of weapon models. At the same time, with the application of high-tech in weapon models, higher requirements are put forward for the on-site support and maintenance of weapon models. However, the current equipment monitoring and fault diagnosis systems generally have the disadvantages of relative independence, insufficient diagnostic knowledge, and single problem-solving ability. It is difficult to achieve complex diagnostic tasks and meet the actual needs of the troops. One of the main reasons for this situation is the lack of information interaction means between the various systems, which become \"information islands\", and cannot realize the effective integration of resources, which reduces the utilization efficiency of diagnostic resources and leads to insufficient support capabilities. With the development of computer technology and network communication technology, the application of distributed computing technology with Intranet/Internet as the application background has become an important development direction in the field of fault diagnosis, providing a new technical approach to improve the support capability of weapons and equipment. For fault diagnosis, remote distributed networks will play a greater role in information sharing. By using remote distributed networks, weapons development, testing, use, and maintenance units in different regions can be closely connected, and their respective support resources and diagnostic knowledge can be comprehensively utilized to provide remote diagnostic services for the diagnosed objects, which can effectively solve complex problems that cannot be solved by the current independent diagnostic systems [1].
