This paper discusses a distributed temperature measurement system based on RS-485 network. First, the characteristics of RS-485 interface are introduced, the network networking method and system hardware and software design process are described in detail, and some practical experience is provided. A low-cost, high-reliability distributed data acquisition solution is given. In distributed control systems, serial communication is often used to achieve the purpose of remote information interaction. RS-485[1] serial interface is a protocol standard of the physical layer of the 7-layer OSI model. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy networking and strong anti-interference ability, and has been widely used in industrial control. This paper uses AT89C52 microcontroller to control digital temperature sensor DS1731 as a slave node to access RS-485 network, forming a low-cost distributed temperature measurement system, which is applied to the cold storage distributed monitoring system of Ace Refrigeration Company and has achieved good results.
