Abstract: A one-dimensional steady-state model of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) was established using the empirical equation of fuel cells, and simulation and result analysis were carried out. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data. A human-computer interaction interface was written using VB (Visual Basic) as the front-end user program, and SIMULINK of MATLAB was used to run in the background. A simulation experiment software for characteristic parameters of proton exchange membrane fuel cells based on MATLAB and VB software packages was developed, and the effects of parameters such as the operating temperature and reaction gas pressure of PEMFC on its performance were simulated and analyzed, which is helpful for the simulation experiment of fuel cell characteristic parameters and the analysis, design and optimization of fuel cells. Keywords: PEMFC; simulation; SIMULINK
