With the development of economy and the continuous improvement of production management automation level, the combination of traditional instruments, fieldbus and Ethernet technology, the development of field intelligent detection instruments with bus interface and remote network transmission system has become a hot topic in the industry. This paper analyzes the research status of this topic in detail, and proposes a design scheme of intelligent instrument remote transmission system based on CAN bus. This paper first analyzes the key issues of the topic and explains the overall design scheme of the system. Then the software and hardware design of the system is discussed in detail. In the design, C8051F040 single-chip microcomputer is selected as the core processor of the field intelligent detection instrument, and the signal conditioning circuit, CAN bus interface circuit and human-computer interaction interface are designed to realize the detection of conventional parameters such as temperature, pH, salinity, turbidity in the water environment. This instrument is used as a CAN bus node and sends the detected parameter data to the bus through the CAN interface. An embedded CAN-Ethernet gateway based on ARM7 processor LPC2292 is also designed. On the basis of the gateway hardware platform design, the embedded real-time operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ was transplanted. On this basis, a tailored TCP/IP protocol stack suitable for embedded system applications was implemented, and an embedded Web server was implemented. This gateway is used as the CAN bus master node to receive the data on the bus and save it in the gateway. In this way, the monitoring center manager can access the Web server of the embedded CAN-Ethernet gateway through the IE browser, and can dynamically display the real-time data detected by the intelligent instrument stored in the gateway on the browser\'s Web page. This system runs stably and reliably in actual tests. Through the analysis of the operation results and performance, it can be seen that by combining industrial Ethernet and CAN bus technology with intelligent instruments, various information of on-site intelligent devices can be transmitted to the control room far away from the site, which can realize the monitoring of some special or dangerous unattended occasions, reduce accidents in production to the lowest point, and facilitate the later maintenance of equipment, which can bring considerable economic benefits to the enterprise. At the same time, this system is a fully open system with strong portability and technical upgrade space. It can be easily applied to other monitoring fields such as national defense, military industry, marine geology, environmental ecology and other industries, and has good development prospects.
