This paper proposes a design method for a simple universal asynchronous serial signal detection device. The functional characteristics of the AVR series microcontroller Atmega128 and the USB2.0 interface chip are introduced, and the asynchronous serial signal detection device is realized. The process of controlling the working mode of the microcontroller through the USB2.0 interface is explained. The large-capacity RAM inside the microcontroller is used to transfer the received high-speed serial data, so as to achieve the purpose of high-speed reception and low-speed forwarding back to the computer for detection.
