In order to intelligently control the welding quality of aluminum alloy by image processing and pattern recognition, it is necessary to obtain a clear image of the welding pool of aluminum alloy and then extract the information of the welding pool. Based on the analysis of the welding spectrum of aluminum alloy, the continuous spectrum in the welding arc is used as the light source, a new optical image sensor is designed by broadband filtering method, and a common industrial CCD camera is used to obtain a clear and stable quality image of the aluminum alloy welding pool area. Aiming at the imbalance of interference distribution in the obtained aluminum alloy welding pool image, a new partition filtering image preprocessing algorithm is used to obtain the ideal characteristic parameters of the aluminum alloy welding pool.
