Multi-granularity optical switching can reduce the number of ports on the wavelength switching plane in a dense optical wave multiplexing system. However, in the traditional multi-granularity optical switching structure, there is a close coupling relationship between the wavelength switching plane and the wavelength switching plane, which makes the structure of multi-granularity optical switching relatively complex. To this end, a new multi-granularity optical switching structure is proposed. In the new structure, the wavelength switching plane and the wavelength switching plane are completely independent, which can effectively simplify the structure of multi-granularity optical switching and reduce the number of ports on the wavelength switching plane. In order to improve the wavelength utilization rate in the new structure, a service grooming algorithm adapted to the new structure is proposed. Simulation results show that this algorithm can effectively reduce service congestion.
