This article provides practical electromagnetic compatibility technology in electrical/electronic/structural design. All contents are expected to be published in 6 months. The readers of this article are electronic product designers, and the product range includes the entire range from power modules, single-board computers, motor drivers and other components to independent or networked products such as computers, audio-visual equipment, instruments, etc. The techniques introduced in this article include: 1. Circuit design (digital circuits, analog circuits, switching power supplies, communication equipment) and device selection 2. Cables and connectors 3. Filters and transient interference suppression 4. Shielding 5. Circuit board design (including transmission lines) 6. Electrostatic discharge, electromechanical devices and power factor correction of power supplies Since there are already many textbooks on the above issues, this article only raises the issues and introduces some key points of the most practical techniques. These contents are very important and practical. However, we will not introduce why these techniques work here, but only what these techniques are and how to apply them. Of course, understanding the principles of these techniques is very necessary for flexible application of these techniques. You can refer to other textbooks and participate in our training courses. Circuit design and EMC device selection At the beginning of a new design and development project, the correct selection of active and passive components and perfect circuit design techniques will help to obtain EMC certification at the lowest cost and reduce the additional cost, volume and weight of the product due to shielding and filtering.
