This paper introduces the implementation of signal alarm and interlock protection between EAST cryogenic system and master control on DeltaV DCS. Firstly, the system requirements and design scheme of interlock protection are introduced, then the control logic of interlock protection is explained in detail, and the corresponding software configuration is provided, including the configuration of manual button monitoring interface and the configuration of interlock module. The cryogenic system is one of the core subsystems of EAST, responsible for providing cooling for each cooling component of EAST to make the fusion device enter the superconducting state. The stable operation of the cryogenic system plays a vital role in the performance and safety of the EAST device and the success and efficiency of the plasma discharge experiment. Before the EAST discharge experiment, the master control must check the preparation of each subsystem. Only when each subsystem meets the experimental conditions can it be officially powered on for the plasma discharge experiment. At the same time, if a subsystem fails during the experiment, it must also notify the master control, which will determine the degree of the failure and then issue commands to other subsystems to perform corresponding fault operations. As one of the important subsystems of the EAST device, the signal monitoring between the cryogenic system and the master control must be carried out in real time. The signal alarm and interlock protection are very important for the successful plasma discharge experiment of the EAST device. DCS The control applied to cryogenic systems can greatly increase the stability and reliability of the system. Using DeltaV DCS to realize the signal interlocking function between the cryogenic system and the master control can give full play to the advantages of DeltaV controllers, quickly and accurately monitor and alarm the signals, and effectively perform protection operations on the cryogenic system.
