Based on the differential absorption spectroscopy technology and flue gas monitoring, this paper describes the design of a spectral signal acquisition and processing system using HAMAMATSU\'s S3923 NMOS image sensor and ALTERA\'s economical FPGA. In practice, the timing control of the image sensor and the preliminary design of the SOPC system and partial simulation verification are realized.
