Multispectral Image Compression Method Based on Wavelet Transform

  Based on the analysis of the coefficient characteristics of multispectral images after wavelet transform, a wavelet transform compression method with shared effective graph is proposed. This method generalizes the zerotree coding in wavelet transform compression technology to multispectral image compression, and uses the structural correlation of multispectral images to construct only one effective graph for multiple wavelet images, while removing spatial redundancy and inter-spectral structural redundancy, and combining with transform to further remove inter-spectral statistical redundancy. Experiments show the effectiveness of this method.
