The gyro dynamic test system used to obtain, process and analyze the dynamic parameters of gyro is an important research topic. CAN-bus (Controller Area Network) is one of the most widely used field buses in the world. It has outstanding advantages such as high communication rate, high reliability, convenient connection, multiple master stations, simple communication protocol and high performance-price ratio. Its application field has rapidly expanded from the initial automobile industry to the aviation industry, railway transportation, industrial control, medical equipment and safety protection. At present, there are many manufacturers of CAN interface chips, with open protocols, low prices and simple use. Therefore, CAN-bus is very suitable as a data communication method for gyro dynamic test systems. In addition, in order to realize real-time acquisition and processing of gyro data and high-precision servo control of rate turntables, digital signal processing (DSP) technology is introduced here. DSP is a microprocessor that is particularly suitable for real-time signal processing and has high-speed data processing capabilities. The TMS320LF2407A (hereinafter referred to as 2407) of TI of the United States has an operation speed of 40MIPS, including the operation speed of a 10-bit multiplier, 32K words of on-chip flash memory, 16-channel high-speed 10-bit A/D, multiple function-rich general-purpose timers, multi-channel programmable pulse width modulation (PWM) output and dead zone, multi-channel signal input capture (CAP), photoelectric encoder interface (QEP), and industry-wide asynchronous serial interface (SCI), serial (synchronous) peripheral interface (SPI) and CAN bus interface. These rich on-chip resources make 2407 have an unparalleled advantage over traditional single-chip microcomputers in real-time data acquisition and high-precision servo control applications. Therefore, 2407 is very suitable as the main controller of each intelligent node of the gyro dynamic test system.
