In the 1990s, with the development of computer software, especially the widespread popularity of Windows operating system, PSpice has appeared in versions 5.1, 6.1, 6.2, 8.0 that can run in Windows environment, also known as the window version, which uses graphical input, has a more intuitive operation interface, stronger analysis functions, and richer component parameter library and macro model library. PSpice is a general circuit analysis program and an important part of EDA. Its main task is to simulate and emulate circuits. The predecessor of this software is SPIC (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis), which was developed by the University of California, Berkeley in 1972. In 1975, the official practical version SPICE2G was launched, and it was designated as the US national standard in 1988. In 1984, Microsim launched the microcomputer version PSpice (Personal-SPICE) based on SPICE. Since then, various versions of SPICE have been continuously launched, and their functions have become more and more powerful.
