Bayesian-NSCT image denoising algorithm based on hierarchical noise estimation

Non-sampled Contourlet (NSCT) is a Contourlet transform with translation invariance, which can better represent the geometric texture information of the image [1]. This paper proposes a comprehensive image denoising algorithm based on domain layered noise estimation in the non-sampled Contoulet domain, which combines Bayes adaptive threshold calculation and hard threshold denoising. Experimental results show that this method improves the denoising effect of noisy images, preserves more effective information in the image, and has better performance and visual effects than other similar algorithms.
