_Principle of final test of GSM mobile phone calibration Basic principle of final test of calibration Purpose of calibration and final test Although the same model of mobile phones currently produced use the same components, there are still certain deviations in these same components. Therefore, there are bound to be differences in the mobile phones combined, but the differences are within a certain range. If they exceed the range, the mobile phone will be considered defective. Therefore, the purpose of calibration is to adjust the difference of the mobile phone to the range that meets the national standard, and the final test is a check on the calibration, because calibration cannot adjust each channel and each power level of the mobile phone, and can only select representative (experimental points) for calibration. Therefore, it is not certain that the mobile phone that passes the calibration is a good product. Only those that pass the final test are considered good. The calibration and final test procedures on our current production line combine these two parts (except for DA8 and EMP platforms). Introduction to basic calibration and test items of mobile phones 1. Battcal (battery calibration): It is an adjustment to simulate the use of the battery of the mobile phone, which is divided into two cases (4.2V and 3.5V). Battery calibration) The calibration of Heng 9 series and Florence platform is similar. First adjust the bias value when the mobile phone battery is at 4.2V so that the voltage reading of the mobile phone is in the range of 4.2±0.1v. Then adjust the battery voltage to 3.5v to see if the voltage is still in the range of 3.5±0.1v. If it is, store the bias value in the mobile phone. 2. TxCal (transmitter calibration): Different platforms have different calibration methods, but the general principle is the same. That is, through a certain method, adjust the power value at one or several test experience points (all power levels) to meet the requirements of the national standard. This representation value can be a single number or a group of numbers. For example, the A6/A8 series has multiple experience points (GSM900 has 4 channels 10, 60, 105, 1000, DCS1800 has 3 channels 570, 700, 800) full power level (i.e. GSM900 has 5-19, DCS1800 has 0-15) and a single value, while the Heng9 series and Florence platform have a single experience point (GSM900 has 62, DCS1800 has 698) full power level representing a group of power curves for that power level.
