The CNC experimental platform is a set of teaching experimental equipment that can simulate the processing of parts by drawing programming graphics by receiving pulses from computer control software. This paper introduces its design process and focuses on the software part of the CNC experimental platform. The software part is implemented with VB.net to write the software control system of the experimental platform. The system includes human-computer interface, decoding function, interpolation function and additional functions. With the deepening of science and technology and industrialization, the great progress of manufacturing technology, the society\'s requirements for product quality and variety are becoming more and more intense, the proportion of small and medium-sized batch production has increased significantly, and the requirements for processing complex shape parts and high-precision parts are getting higher and higher. Traditional automation can no longer meet this requirement. With the great development of computer technology, various levels of open CNC systems have been launched one after another. The main task of this paper is to control the CNC experimental platform through a PC.
