Judging from the speed of Internet development, multicast is an old concept rather than a new one, but it has developed slowly for various reasons. The concept of IP multicast first appeared in Steve Deering\'s doctoral thesis in 1988. In 1989, Steve Deering extended the standard IP network layer protocol and proposed the IP multicast specification. In March 1992, the first multicast backbone network MBone was established, and IETF successfully held a meeting on the multicast network, which attracted widespread attention. The first WWW browser appeared in 1990.
