Boiler air heaters can effectively prevent low-temperature corrosion and ash blockage at the cold end of the air preheater heat transfer element. In addition, the use of air heaters can also increase the combustion air temperature of the boiler cold start ignition, improve the efficiency of the combustion-supporting fuel, and reduce the possibility of secondary combustion caused by the deposition of unburned oil smoke and oil scale at the tail. However, except in winter, the air heater does not need to be put into operation for a long time. Not only does the air heater itself have resistance, but the debris in the air will gradually deposit on the heat sink of the air heater, causing its resistance to increase continuously, affecting the heat exchange efficiency of the air heater. The rotary air heater can achieve trouble-free switching during the operation of the unit. The air heater is rotated to a certain angle, and the transport, induced, and primary fans do not need to be stopped during the rotation process. The operation practice of units 3 and 4 of our plant shows that the use of rotary air heaters can effectively reduce the power consumption rate of the plant, with significant economic benefits.
