Taking the inverter-driven series system of two double Y-shifted 30° permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) as an example, the author gives the working principle of the series system, adopts the vector control strategy of id=0 and two control series decoupling methods: current hysteresis control and PWM carrier control. In the Matlab/simulink environment, these two methods are used to simulate the operating characteristics of the two motor series system. When the speed and load of one of the motors change, the independent operation of the other motor under the two methods is analyzed, and the feasibility, advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are verified and analyzed.
