This article takes the design of voice signal filtering, framing, windowing, energy calculation and other modules as an example to introduce the method of real-time processing of voice signals. It needs to be designed with EDA tools such as MATLAB, DSP Builder, QUARTUS II, ModelSim, etc. After the voice signal enters the FPGA after analog-to-digital conversion, it is filtered. Because the signal needs to be processed in real time, dynamic framing is required. Finally, the energy of each frame is calculated to prepare for the next step of voice signal processing such as endpoint detection and feature extraction.
