Embedded system is also called embedded computer system. As the name implies, embedded system is a special form of computer, so before understanding the concept of embedded system, we must first clarify the basic concept of computer. Computer is an electronic device that can automatically process various data according to instructions. A complete computer system consists of two parts: hardware and software. Software is a collection of instructions and data, while hardware is the environment platform for executing instructions and processing data, which are those visible and tangible components. The hardware system of a computer is mainly composed of a central processing unit (CPU), memory, external devices, and a computer bus that connects various parts.
