Application of Distribution Automation System in Line Loss Calculation Zhou Jianying, Xiamen Electric Power Bureau Abstract: This paper takes the line loss calculation of Gulangyu District of Xiamen Electric Power Bureau as an example to analyze and compare the difference between the line loss calculation results of distribution network calculated by data collected by distribution automation system and the line loss calculation results calculated by traditional line loss calculation data, and what benefits will it bring to line loss management. 0. Introduction For a long time, the calculation, analysis and management of distribution network line loss has been an arduous task for every power department. Due to the difficulty in collecting original data, the theoretical line loss calculation method of distribution network is very simple, which reduces the demand for original data to a minimum, so the accuracy of the calculation result can be imagined. With the continuous attention paid by various power bureaus to the distribution network, the level of distribution automation in various bureaus has also developed rapidly. Through the distribution automation system, we can collect a lot of information. How to apply this data to line loss calculation, and what benefits it will bring to our line loss management work, this is worth discussing. In the second half of 1999, the Xiamen Electric Power Bureau Customer Service Center began to build a distribution transformer monitoring system, load management system, carrier automatic meter reading system and ring network automation system in Gulangyu Island using existing technology and human resources. Now the first three systems have been put into operation, and the ring network automation system is about to be put into operation. In this way, the distribution automation system of Gulangyu Island has taken shape. This paper will take the Gulangyu distribution network as an example to make a preliminary discussion on the application of distribution automation system in line loss calculation. 1. Introduction to Gulangyu 10kV distribution ring network The power supply of Xiamen Gulangyu distribution network is two 10kV lines, Honggu I and Honggu II, which are connected by submarine cables to Dadeji switch station. Through the 903 and 904 switches in the switch station, they are divided into two groups of outgoing lines (Fujian line and Longtou line) to supply power to users on the island. Its power supply network is spread all over the island, consisting of 10 ring network switch stations such as Dadeji switch station and Longtou switch station, which supply power to the whole island respectively (see Figure 1). At present, the cabling project of Gulangyu\'s 10kV distribution network has been completed. The entire 10kV distribution network has become a relatively simple ring network consisting of cables, ring network cabinets, and box transformers. The entire network structure is simple and clear and includes most types of distribution network operation equipment that have been put into operation by Xiamen Bureau.
