Kionix supplies MEMS inertial sensors to many of the world's leading electronics companies, including many of the top OEMs and ODMs that produce gaming devices, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other high-volume applications. The company employs more than 200 people worldwide. In 2009, Kionix became a wholly owned subsidiary of ROHM Co., Ltd., a multi-billion dollar diversified electronics supplier headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
