AD574A Unipolar and Bipolar Input Circuita

AD574A is a high-performance 12-bit successive approximation. A/D converter can directly interface with 8-bit or 16-bit microcomputer bus. The analog voltage input
to AD 574A can be either unipolar or bipolar. The unipolar input analog voltage range is 0-1OV or
0-20V; the bipolar input voltage range is ±5v or 20V.
When unipolar input is used, the B IP OFF terminal should be connected to ov. The circuit connection is shown in Figure a. The BIP OFF terminal in the figure
is connected to ground through a 100n resistor, and the zero point can be adjusted through RP1.
For bipolar input, the BIP OFF terminal is connected to the +lov voltage, and the circuit connection is as shown in Figure b. The B IP OFF terminal in the circuit
is connected to the REF and OU terminals with +10V voltage through the 1000 resistor RP2.
