Use clamp ammeter to determine leakage ground fault point

When a ground leakage fault occurs on a distribution line or motor control equipment, it is difficult to pinpoint the specific ground fault point. The method of using a clamp ammeter to determine leakage and ground faults does not require a power outage or wiring, as shown in the figure.
