Use welding transformer to heat and dry motor winding circuit
Source: InternetPublisher:武林萌主 Updated: 2010/05/18
For three-phase motors, the heating single-phase power supply should be controlled at around 110V. A welding transformer can be used to reduce the 380V or 220V power supply voltage and then connect it to the three-phase series-connected stator winding. The circuit is as shown in the figure. The stator winding current (measured by ammeter A) is 70% to 80% of the rated current of the motor. The motor will be dried after 7 to 8 hours of power.
