A white backlight application circuit for mobile phones, PDAs, etc.

AAT3112 drives white backlight, flash and RGB tri-color lights. In this application, the VOUT1 output of AAT3112 is used as the backlight output, and VOUT2 is connected to AnalogicTechTM's I/O expansion chip AAT4290/1 for RGB light control and flash control. AnalogicTechTM's unique S2Cwire control technology controls the voltage output of OUT1~OUT5. The OUT1~OUT3 outputs control the R, G, and B lights respectively, while the OUT4 and OUT5 of the AAT4290 control the flash and flashlight mode outputs.
