Simple and efficient F/V conversion circuit

The F/V converter can receive various periodically changing signal waveforms and generate an analog output proportional to the frequency of the input signal. The AD651 used in this circuit is a high-precision, high-frequency monolithic integrated voltage-frequency and frequency-to-voltage conversion circuit. AD651 can form cheap high-resolution low-speed A/D converters, long-distance signal transmission circuits, phase-locked loop circuits, modem circuits, precision stepper motor speed control circuits, and narrow-band filter circuits.
