In order to ensure the stability of the power supply for long-term operation, the power supply must be comprehensively tested and analyzed. There will be dozens of test items. It is necessary to select the appropriate test instrument according to the test items to maximize the performance of the instrument. In terms of electrical parameters, Power analyzers are used for energy efficiency and harmonic testing, and oscilloscope recorders are used for isolation testing, multi-channel synchronous analysis, durability testing, and abnormal capture.
The ZDL6000 oscilloscope recorder comes standard with 8 board card slots. Each input channel is insulated from each other, which saves power users a large number of high-voltage differential probes. It can provide a variety of input boards and channels such as voltage, current, temperature... Up to 128CH, providing the best solution for customers to observe waveform timing and find abnormal signals.
ScopeCorder—Drive Timing Test
The general method of testing drive timing is to use an oscilloscope and a differential probe to test the Vgs and Vds of the MOS. Use a current probe to test the inductor current. You can observe the corresponding drive signal quality and inductor current working mode. If you use an oscilloscope recorder to test, Then there is no need for a differential probe, the test is more accurate and more convenient, as shown in Figure 8.

Oscilloscope recorder—anomaly capture and endurance testing
Exception capture: When the power supply product is running for a long time, it is unknown what problems will occur. The oscilloscope cannot set the trigger conditions and it is not easy to capture the exception. However, after using the oscilloscope to record the waveform, you can review it and effectively capture the abnormal waveform;
Endurance test: Power supply products require frequent on/off tests. Thousands of times may only cause one failure, so a recorder is required to record the product for a long time to analyze the stable performance of the product.

Component temperature rise test
Abnormal temperatures in key parts of the equipment can lead to reduced equipment performance or even damage. Therefore, temperature rise testing is an essential item in the product development process. ZDL6000 can be used to flexibly combine voltage acquisition cards, 16-channel cards, temperature acquisition cards and other boards for simultaneous measurement. For example, in the temperature rise test, a 100M card and a temperature card can be assembled to simultaneously test the device's operating voltage, current, and temperature rise of key parts.
