This circuit consists of a comparator and a monostable multivibrator, and uses a thermistor to measure temperature. If the measured temperature exceeds the temperature set by the potentiometer Rp, the comparator output (pin 8) formed by the first operational amplifier is low level. If the monitored temperature is exceeded, the comparator output becomes highly resistive (open collector), so the monostable multivibrator consisting of the second operational amplifier operates and the light-emitting diode CQV21 flashes.
