 The LT3599 switching frequency can be set using an external resistor, with an adjustable range of 200kHz to 2.1MHz. The LED dimming function can be implemented using the analog dimming circuit on the CTRL pin and the pulse width modulation dimming circuit on the PWM pin. The LT3599 is able to accurately regulate LED current even when the input voltage is higher than the LED output voltage. It comes in thermally enhanced 32-pin (5mm×5mm) QFN and 28- pin TS SOP packages , providing a highly compact solution for LED backlighting applications.
