Photovoltaic cells are made by utilizing the photovoltaic effect of semiconductor materials. The so-called photovoltaic effect refers to the phenomenon that semiconductor materials absorb light energy, excite electron-hole pairs by photons, and generate electromotive force after separation. The IV characteristics of photovoltaic cells change with sunlight intensity S (W/㎡) and cell temperature t (℃), that is, I=f (V, S, t). According to electronic theory, when the load is a pure resistor, the actual equivalent circuit of the photovoltaic cell is as shown in the figure.
