The lantern control circuit consists of a multivibrator, a control circuit, a thyristor trigger circuit and a step-down power supply circuit. The AC step-down rectifier circuitprovides +9V DC voltage to IC 1 and IC2. IC2 uses YX9010, a dedicated integrated circuit for lantern control, which has eight lantern control modes in its chip memory. The peripheral circuit of this integrated block is very simple.
