Use SE9518 to make high-power holiday lights

This circuit uses two SE 9518 integrated circuits. The clock pulse generated by the internal oscillation circuit of Al is derived from pin 6 (i.e.,
the oscillation capacitor terminal Oscc) and is connected to the oscillation common terminal osc of A2, i.e., pin 8, for expansion.
The synchronous control terminals R (pin 5) of the two circuits are connected together and connected to the positive power terminal VDD through the switch S. When starting up, press switch
S to achieve synchronization (when using a single block, this pin can be left floating or connected to vss). If you want to drive more street lights, the circuit can be
expanded to 3 integrated blocks or more. The method is to connect the 6-pin lead of the second block to the 8-pin of the third block, and so on.
The 5 pins of the synchronization terminals of all integrated blocks should be connected together, and the switch should be used to short-circuit VDD at startup to achieve synchronization.
When multiple integrated circuits are used, the pattern control methods of each circuit can be set independently, so that different patterns can be formed
. The output end of each integrated block drives a high-power triac
through a 9014 transistor . The light-emitting
diodes LED in the picture are used for output indication. They should flash synchronously with the colored lights . The operating voltage of the integrated circuit is supplied by step-down transformer
and bridge rectification by four diodes.
