The ON state resistance of the D MOS power switch has a positive temperature coefficient, and the four switches can be
connected in parallel to increase the load current. Therefore, a single LMD18400 can drive one,
two, or four small DC motors. Inputting the PWM control signal from the input terminal can realize
the speed regulation control of the motor, see Figure 11-12 and Figure 11-13.
The LM 1951 is a high-speed (up to 50kHz) high-side smart switch. It can provide the following fault
protection and have fault indication output: output terminal short circuit to ground or positive power supply , negative open circuit, over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature. It is suitable for driving resistive and inductive loads. The output has a 30V clamp to quickly discharge inductive loads. The input control terminal is TTL/ (' MOS compatible and has ESD (anti-static) protection.
