 The circuit is shown in Figure 3-124. This circuit does not use intermediate relays . In the figure, Kv is the speed relay. When the motor
speed is greater than 120 r/min, the contact is closed. When the motor speed is lower than 100 r/min, the contact is open. When stopping, the contactor KMi is released
, KMz is closed, and the reverse braking is performed. When the speed is lower than 100r/min, the Kv contact is disconnected. KM2 is released and the braking process
ends (about 1 to 3 seconds). The purpose of connecting the braking resistor R is to limit the reverse braking current. R can also be connected to only two phases.
